Hello! My name is Michelle Medina and I am currently practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  I earned a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Phoenix and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in General Psychology with an emphasis on Performance Psychology.

I have extensive experience as a home visitor, where my role involved providing information on child development and parenting skills to first-time families. Additionally, I connected these families with valuable community resources. Alongside this, I bring a wealth of expertise as a mental health counselor, having worked with individuals spanning various age groups. My unwavering commitment to helping others is driven by my diverse skill set, which allows me to interact confidently and effectively with each person I serve.

Furthermore, my specialized training in EMDR equips me to offer valuable support to individuals who have experienced trauma, addressing their mental health needs with both competence and compassion. I utilize a range of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, CBT therapy, DBT therapy, and play therapy. My profound passion for mental health and assisting individuals in developing healthy coping strategies tailored to their unique strengths is a driving force in my work.
